Music Ministry

Choir · Band · Strings · Production · Led by James Okafor

Overview

Leading hearts, not performances.

The Music Ministry exists to lead our congregation into authentic, heartfelt worship through music. From the choir loft to the drum kit to the sound desk, every role has the same goal: help the whole room sing.

We blend timeless hymns with modern songs, and we welcome musicians at every level — from first-time singers to seasoned players. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, and nobody auditions alone: come try a rehearsal before you decide anything.

"Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth."

Psalm 96:1

Teams you can join

  • Choir — all voices welcome, no audition; robes optional, joy required.
  • Band — guitar, keys, bass, drums, and orchestral strings for special Sundays.
  • Production — sound, slides, and livestream; full training provided.
  • Special music — solos, ensembles, and seasonal cantatas at Easter and Christmas.

No-pressure tryout

Come to one rehearsal. That's it.

Visiting a rehearsal commits you to nothing. You'll get music in advance, a buddy for the evening, and an honest conversation afterward about where you fit best — choir, band, or behind the scenes. Most new members sing with the choir within a month.
